I Mean Everything

We give ourselves credit for everything. Yet, we dont realize it or even understand, that we can do nothing without God.

Give God the glory in everything! I mean everything!

John 15:5 (KJV) – I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

I Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) – whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Stop Trying To Figure It Out

We put so much trust in ourselves, and we keep trying to figure things out, when we are to trust God.

Stop trying to figure it out and put your mind to rest. Give it to God, and let him handle it.

Remember, you don’t have more power than God. He will reveal to you what He wants you to know.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

John 14:27 (KJV) – peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Is It Worth It

Ask yourself; is what I’m going through worth keeping me from doing the will of God? Do I cherish it more than God?

Whatever it is that’s keeping you from the will of God, in essence you are saying, it is worth more than God. You may not speak it, but your actions will show it.

Chose God.

Romans 6:23 (KJV) – for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) – now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:16, 25 (KJV) – this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

You Are A Beautiful Portrait

So many of us walk around feeling bad because of what someone has said about us. Someone can make a unkind statement about us, we chisel it in our mind, accept it as the truth, and carry it within ourselves for months, and even years.

Man did not make man, and every one of us have issues of our own.

Recall who you are as a child of the living God, and let go of the portrait you’ve been carrying around that someone else has painted of you.  Live on the basis of truth, of what God says about you. And what a beautiful portrait yo

Deuteronomy 14:2 (KJV) – for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Psalm 139:14 (KJV) – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

What Are You Thinking

Are your thoughts in line with what the world thinks, or are your thoughts in line with things from above? Our actions tells the story of what we think.

Renew your thinking daily, so that your actions are pleasing to God.

Colossians 3:1-2 (KJV) – if ye then be risen with Christ , seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Romans 12:2 (KJV) – and be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Taste It

We say unkind things, and speak unkind words to and about others. But not often do we stop to think before we speak.

If unkind words left an awful taste in our mouth, I wonder how much of what we want to say, will be left unsaid.

What you speak is life and death. Be quick to listen and slow to speak.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) – death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

James 1:19 (KJV) – wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

Can I Say Something

Have you listened to someone who kept talking, and you couldn’t get a word in edge-wise, and you wanted to say; “can I say something”?  That’s how most of us are when we are in the presents of God in prayer. We do all the talking, and don’t take the time to listen to what He has to say to us.

Whatever your concern, speak, then be quiet and listen to God. Let Him say something. You’d be surprised what God has to say to you.

Luke 11:28 (KJV) – but he said, yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Proverbs 8:33-34 (KJV) – hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

It’s Happening For Me

Did you know, our enemies are like sandpaper? They are rough for a reason. They make life uncomfortable for us. They don’t know it, but they are there to polish us to make us look good. The more they come at us, the stronger we become, the more polished we are, the more damage they do to themselves, and the less attractive they look.

The more we use sandpaper on something, the more that item becomes smooth and polished, and the sandpaper, is worn out and ugly. Without the sandpaper, we will never become polished, more stronger, more wiser and more useful to ourselves and others.

Enjoy your life while you’re being sanded, and don’t worry about the sandpaper. Know that the sandpaper is not happening to you, but for you.

Thank your heavenly Father for the sandpaper in your life, and trust that God is doing a good thing in you. God will honor your obedience to Him.

Genesis 50:20 (KJV) – but as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

You Can Move Mountains

Whatever is blocking your view of your future is your mountain. Whether it be financially, relationship, self-esteem or health, if it’s causing stress, disbelief, and draining your peace, it’s your mountain.

If you have as much faith as a mustard seed, you can say to your mountain – move, and it will move because of your faith.

Your mountain cannot get any bigger than your faith, and your faith does not have to be the same size as your mountain.

Understand, faith can definitely grow, and is bigger than any mountain you face. You can move mountains. Believe and you will receive.

So tell your mountain – MOVE!

Matthew 17:20 (KV) – and Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Get To Know Me

We can spend time around people who are like us, yet we truly don’t know them, because we don’t take the time to know them.

When we spend time with someone, talk and ask questions, we build a relationship. We begin to know more about them, and their character. Then we begin to have benefits that we didn’t have before.

Spend time with God, and get to know Him. He wants you to know him. Build a personal relationship with Him, and you will soon see, you will have access to things that you didn’t have before.

Psalm 103:2 (KJV) – bless the Lord O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

John 17:3 (KJV) – and this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
