You Are Saved

Most of us believe we can save ourselves, but we can’t. The flesh can’t do anything good of itself. But, if we believe on the Lord, we will be save, as well as those in our household.

If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. You are saved by the grace of God through faith.

Acts 16:31 (KJV). and they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) – that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) – for by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Nothing Satan Offers Is Good

We allow others to stir us up, but we have to recognize that this is satan. Satan’s job is to divide us.

Be aware of the devices of satan, and know that his works are never good. Nothing satan offers if good.

Stay in God’s peace, read the word of God to know how to fight off satan and his devices.

II Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) – lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Philippians 4:7 (KJV) – and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Good For The Soul

Laughter is good for the soul.

Laughter reduces stress and a negative attitude.  It increases optimism, a positive attitude, refreshes you and gives you more energy.

Laugh and laugh some more – everyday!!

Job: 8:21 (KJV) – till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

Psalm 126: 2 (KJV) – then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

God Holds All The Power

If you truly look at it, our faith is based on what we see, the wisdom of man, and what man says. Oh my, how disastrous!

Our faith should be in the power of God, and not ourselves, for God holds all power.

I Corinthians 2:5 (KJV) – that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I Corinthians 4:20 (KJV) – for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

II Corinthians 4:7 (KJV) – but we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Matthew 28:18 (KJV) – and Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Believe It

Does your faith say, that you believe that God is who He say He is?

Believe it. If you don’t believe it now, you will later.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) – but without faith, it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Romans 14:11 (KJV) – for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God..

I Got This

We think we are self-sufficient, that we can handle everything.

We go wrong in so many areas in our lives because we try to handle our affairs ourselves. And when we do that, we are saying, “God, I got this”. But we really don’t. We all give some things to God, and handle the rest ourselves.

Leaving God out is a sure thing for disaster, either now or later. Give it all to God in prayer, and let him show you the way to go. He knows all, He sees all. He is the way, the truth, and the life. You can’t go wrong with God. Do it His way, not yours.

II Corinthians 3:5 (KJV) – not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) – be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

John 14:6 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: Norman cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I Don’t Understand It

The word of God is where we get our daily instructions. But there are so many of us that don’t read it because we don’t understand it.

One of the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit is to bring us into the knowledge of God, to understand the things of God.

If you don’t read it, you won’t understand it. And if you read it and don’t understand it, ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding . . . And He will.

Knowing the word of God is your protection, and saves you from a multitude of sins. Get in the word, and watch your life change for the better, see your blessing increase and your joy increase to another level.

Ephesians 1:17 (KJV) – that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

John 14:26 (KJV) – but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and being all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) – wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding

Are You Despising God

We go about our daily living, not realizing half of what we do is not right. And that everything we do, should be done unto God, not man.

It is not God’s will for us to live despising and hating one another. His word say, if we despise someone, we are not despising man, but we are despising God.

Read His word, so that you know how to live accordingly.

Colossians 3:23-24 (KJV) – and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto me. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

I Thessalonians 4:8 (KJV)- he therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his Holy Spirit.
