More Wrong Than Right

Most people do not fear God. Our actions say so. We fear so many other things, but not God. We do more wrong than right.

You are to fear one thing . . . and that’s God. Not to be scared of him, but to fear him out of respect for who he is, and instruction for wisdom.

Fear God enough to do right, because you love him too much to do wrong.

Deuteronomy 8:6 (KJV) – therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways and to fear him.

Proverbs 15:33 (KJV) – the fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom: and before honour is humility.

Leviticus 25:17 (KJV) – ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the Lord your God.

Run Your Race With Patience

When someone runs a race, they try to run as fast as they can to be the first across the finish line.

When we run the race that is set before our lives, we are to run with patience, otherwise we will miss the mark, and what God is doing in our lives.

Stop trying to rush through your life as though it’s a race, but run with patience to observe all that God is doing in and through you.

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) – wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Imagine What God Has For You

Think back at the last time you knew someone was going to give you something. Your mind wondered, and imagined on what it could be.

For those who have a true love for God, will not able to imagine the things he has prepared for them.

Can you imagine?

I Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) – but as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Let God Brag On You

There are so many that brag and boast about themselves. Selling themselves like a commodity, trying to prove themselves to others for one reason or another.

You don’t have to prove your worth, brag or boast on yourself. God will do that for you.

I Peter 5:6 (KJV) – humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Consider This

Before you make your next move, consider this . . .

You are going to have to answer to God for everything you have done, whether good or bad.

II Corinthians 5:10 (KJV) – for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Commit

If you’re not ready to commit, stop looking for the blessing.

Psalm 37:5 (KJV) – commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) – but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
