Your life is like grass, and the people in your circle of life are either fertilizer or weeds.
Just like grass, your life needs to be maintained to keep the weeds out.
Are the people in your circle of life helping you grow with the word of God, or sucking the life out of you, by the cares of this world?
Keep your life fertilized, or it will turn into weeds.
Mark 4:19 (KJV) – and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

We’re so focused on our outward appearance that we make radical changes to make ourselves look better.
When was the last time you focused on the inner you? It needs radical change as well.
Romans 12:2 (KJV) – and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
II Corinthians 4:16 (KJV) – for which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

We’re unhappy when we shouldn’t, sad longer than we should, and have unnecessary pity parties.
You wouldn’t give up control of the steering wheel with your eyes closed, in the middle of heavy traffic.
Take control over what God gave you the authority to do.
Proverbs 25:28 (KJV) – he that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Are you worried about the lies someone spoke against you?
Stop worrying . . .
Proverbs 19:9 (KJV) – a false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

As long as we keep feeling sorry for ourselves, others are not going to keep feeling sorry for us either.
Your pity will last as long as you let it.
You CAN do all things through Christ! That includes, leaving pity behind!
Psalm 69:20 (KJV) – reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
It is not your significant other’s job to make you happy, it’s a bonus!
The word of God is the light to our path, yet so many choose to continue to walk in darkness.
Darkness has no guide.
When are you going to stop stumbling and come out of the dark?
