Let It Go

Ladies and gentlemen, we can’t live our lives being with someone that belongs to someone else, and then asking ourselves; why is God not blessing me with a husband or wife?

As long as we are using worldly wisdom; doing what the world does, we will receive what the world has to offer – drama and chaos, which brings on such things as pain, suffering, heartache, and sadness. If we think that the wisdom, ambitions and values derived from this world ruled by Satan can be used to accomplish God’s will for us, then we are deceiving ourselves.

Confusion is not of God, yet we wonder why things are not working out. It’s because we’re trying to accomplish something in our own strength that God never intended for us.

Anything that Satan has to offer is not good, and eventually is wasted efforts. But God can turn it for your good, once you have asked for forgiveness and repented of your sins.

It is better to suffer for a little while for doing the right thing, then to suffer for a lifetime for holding on to something that was never meant for you to have in the first place. Let it go.

Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) – now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ezekiel 18:30 (KJV) – therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Don’t Live Useless But Useful

How do you spend your time? Do you waste it by doing whatever you want, whenever you want, without a care, and not being fruitful and productive? Or do you spend your time wisely, being productive, fruitful and helping others?

Time is precious, yet we all don’t look at it this way. We have no control over time. We can’t stop it, speed it up or buy it. We can’t reuse it or earn more of it. Once time has passed, it’s gone forever. We can’t get it back.

Take a look at how you spend your time, and see if it’s valuable to you and to others. You can’t take back anything you said or anything you did, but you can live more wisely, going forward.

Know what the will of God is for your life. Don’t live useless, but useful.

Ephesians 5:14-17 (KJV) – wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Make A Wish

At some point in time in your life, have you ever been asked the question; “if you were granted 3 wishes, what would it be?” The answer would be whatever your heart desired.

We all have desires, and we’d like those desires to come to pass. But we don’t have to wish for them. Jesus said, if you believe on him, the works that he do, you will do also, and do greater works. And when we ask, ask in Jesus name, and he will do it. But, if you don’t ask, and don’t ask with a pure heart, you don’t receive.

As a believer, if it lines up with God’s will for us, He will give it to us. If we delight ourself in the Lord, He will give us what we desire.

God is your Father. He wants you to come to him and ask for what you want. He cares about you, and he cares about what you care about. He said, cast your cares on him.

Get to know who God is, and see that he wants to give you more than 3 wishes – for the desires of your heart has no number on it.

James 4:3 (KJV) – ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

John 14:12-14 (LKV) – verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these sshall he do; because I go unto my Faother. And whatsoever ye shall as in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If he shall ask any thing in my nmr, I will do it.

Psalm 37:4 (KJV) – delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thme the desires of thine heart.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Don’t Cheat Yourself

When others are in need, are you helping because it’s the right thing to do? Or are you helping to get something back in return – for your own gain?

Those who do for others only for their own gain, will only gain what they have received in their own efforts.  But when your heart is right in helping someone, God will bless you in return.

God’s word says to give, and it shall be given, pressed down, shaken together and running over.  When we give to help others, we will receive more than what we have sown.

Helping others is an opportunity. Therefore, help those that are in need, and receive the blessings of God. You reap what you sow, more than you sow, later than you sow.

Treat yourself by helping someone, don’t cheat yourself out of your blessings.

Luke 6:38 (KJV) – give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I Am

You are one of a kind. There is none — no one like you. God made you like no one else on earth. Of all the billions of people, there is, and never will be, no one that has a finger print like yours. That’s how awesome God is.

Others may have their own agenda of who they think you are. But own who you are, for you are:

  • A child of God
  • Joint heirs with Christ
  • Fearfully and wonderfully made
  • More than a conqueror
  • A peculiar people

Romans 8:16-17 (KJV) – the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs wig Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Psalm 139:14 (KJV) – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Romans 8:37 (KJV) – nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

I Peter 2:9 (KJV) – but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

He Will Do It

God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

If that’s true, and it is, that means, if God can answer the prayer of a man, who ask that it not rain, then he prayed again and ask that it rain, God can answer your prayers as well.

Ask God for what you want, and believe in your asking, that you have already received it. He said ask. So, what are you waiting for?

He did it then, he will do it now.

Hebrews 13:8 (KJV) – Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

James 5:17-18 (KJV) – Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Romans 4:17 (KJV) – (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Matthew 7:7 (KJV) – ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Are You Talking To Me

When God tells us to do something, most of us act like we don’t hear him. Some hear and don’t obey, and most don’t believe God speaks to them.

His word says, He knows his sheep and his sheep hear his voice.

Clean out your heart and your mind. Let go of the things of this world, and renew your mind, by reading His word, so you can hear what God has to say to you, because He is speaking to you.

John 10:27 (KJV) – my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

God Believes You Deserve It

One of the reasons we pray little is because we are used to receiving little things. In our hearts, we don’t believe we deserve bigger and better for ourselves. We don’t have, because we don’t ask.

Our Father owns it all. Everything belongs to God, and He wants to give to us. He wants us to have life more abundantly.

Step out on faith, and ask God for bigger! Dream BIG! Ask BIG! Expect BIG! If God believes you deserve it, why don’t you?

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

James 4:3 (KJV) – ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Matthew 7:7 (KJV) – ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Be Willing To Go Through The Storm

There will be storms in our lives regardless of how much faith we have. No matter how much we trust God, we will still go through storms.

Having God as your personal Lord and Saviour, does not exempt you from storms either. But fear not, God is with you when you go through them.

God is your shield, your refuge, your doctor, your lawyer, your everything. He fights your battles and give you peace through the storms.

Scripture tells us, God is with us when we walk through the storm.

Be willing to go through the storm, God already knows the outcome. He just wants you to trust and obey Him.

Deuteronomy 20:4 (KJV) – for the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

II Thessalonians 3:16 (KJV) – now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Psalm 23:4 (KJV) – yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
