Whatever it is you have lost, you were meant to lose. Either it wasn’t yours to have in the first place, it was there for a season, or God wants something better for you.

We try so hard to hold on to some things that is not meant for us to keep. When God wants us to have something, we will receive it. Whatever it is God wants us to have or not have, we cannot stop it, no matter what we try to do.

Remember, we do not have more power than God. Therefore, we cannot stop God’s plan for us.

Let go of what you have lost. Let go of your past, and receive what God has for you. His best!

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) – for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Have you ever done something when it hurt someone so bad, you said you will change your ways, so you won’t hurt anyone like that again? After you have changed, you realized how it made things so much better for you and the other person.

When we don’t repent from our sins, don’t change our ways, life will be like an downhill roller coaster ride that won’t stop. Everytime it slows down, you want to get off, but you can’t — because it hasn’t stopped.

Change is only going to happen when your heart is changed, which will change your thinking. Once you change your thinking, your attitude will change and your ways will follow.

Repent and live in obedience to God . . . one step at a time.

Ezekiel 14:6 (KJV) – therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Romans 12:2 (KJV) – and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Going through the motions of life can be difficult at times. Especially when you are dealing with a situation that involves you and someone else, and you hope that they will change.

Most often then none, we don’t want to change until the other person changes first. In these types of situations, it’s God telling you something about yourself. When we are so concerned with the other person, we don’t stop to see what God is revealing in us what needs to change within us.

Circumstances happen to and around us to change us. While we’re changing our ways, God is working on the other person.

Don’t try to take control of the situation. Be still, let God reveal to you what you need to know and do, then watch him change your situation, you and the other person.

Most of all, don’t give up, cause He won’t give up on you — He’s able!

Psalm 46:10 (KJV) – be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

II Corinthians 9:8 (KJV) – and God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

If Satan can keep you surrounded by unbelievers, he will keep you from your blessings.

Satan will supply you with what you don’t need. God will supply you with what you do need.

Be careful who you surround yourself with. They are an influence to you whether you believe it or not. You will pick up some of their ways, and they will pick up some of yours. Those that are toxic, will drain you of the good in you, and try to fill you with the bad in them.

You are to be the light, the one that makes a difference. Don’t allow your light to be dimmed by or for anyone. Hang on to that which is good, and despise that which is evil.

It’s your choice who you choose to allow in your circle of life . . . Choose wisely.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) – but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 1:1 (KJV) – blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Matthew 5:14 (KJV) – ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

Romans 12:9 (KJV) – let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Most of us wonder why we go through so much. Why do we have so many trials and tribulations.

Satan tries his best to attack anything you do right. He doesn’t want you to do good. He’s a thief, a destroyer, and a liar. He wants to rule over you. He wants to ruin you and those around you.

Scripture tells us, that the righteous will have many afflictions. But worry not, whatever Satan tries to afflict you with, God will deliver you from it. God wants you to live in abundance. Just believe and trust in God’s word. He will save you and those around you.

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Psalm 34:19 (KJV) – many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Acts 16:31 (KJV) – and they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

There are so many individuals lost to this world. That’s because Satan has blinded their minds.

We have a choice to be a follower of God, or a follower of satan. When we deliberately and willfully do something that we know is not right, it is not of God. When we choose to not follow Jesus, then who are we following?

Satan blinds your mind to the truth. He doesn’t want you to follow after Jesus because he knows God will reveal secrets to you about satan’s devices. He knows that God will reveal to you, that you have power over all the power of Satan.

In every choice you make, you will either follow Jesus, or you will follow Satan. The more of whom you choose, will determine who you follow.

As a believer, God has given you more power than Satan, use it. Satan’s power is limited.

II Corinthians 4:3-4 (KJV) – but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

II Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) – lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Do you consider yourself selfish? Most of us wouldn’t admit to that, even if we were.

When our concern is about ourself and what we can profit out of a situation, that would be considered selfish. Those that are selfish have an attitude of being served, then to serve. Always wanting things for themselves, and not thinking about others.

Think about it, that’s how most of us are with God. We are selfish when it comes to God. We pray and ask God for things, and expect Him to give it to us. And that’s what we should do — ask with expectations. But, we don’t want to do the things he ask of us. Which is actually, disobedience.

God ask that we trust Him, obey Him, and love Him. We trust others first, rarely obey him, and love others more than we love him.

When we do for others, we have done it to God. We are here to serve, not to be served.

Ask yourself, do you expect God to serve you, instead of you serving God?

Mark 11:24 (KJV) – therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Deuteronomy 13:4 (KJV) – ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Joshua 23:11 (KJV) – take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord our God.

Matthew 25:40 (KJV) – and the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Galatians 5:13 (KJV) – for, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

When the answer to something we pray for, is no, we see it as a negative or rejection. Everything that looks good, or even sounds good, is not always good for us. And just because someone else has something that we want, doesn’t mean it’s meant for us.

Every ‘no’ from God is good, we just have to trust Him. We don’t always know what’s good for us, so why not trust in who does?

God wants us to trust Him with all our heart. If we can trust God when he says yes, why can’t we trust Him when he says no? There’s a blessing in the no.

God knows everything, and what’s best for you. So when He tells you no, trust that it’s for your good, and in due time, you will see that it is.

Trust God’s no.

Ecclesiastes 6:12 (KJV) – for who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

I John 3:20 (KJV) – for if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

God doesn’t “try”, he “does”. We are the ones that are trying.

I don’t recall anywhere in the word of God where it says; “God tried to do”. But it does says, his word doesn’t come back void, and he can’t tell a lie.

God’s word does say, he tried people, but that means he challenged them. And it does say, his word is tried. But it doesn’t say, He tried to do this, or that.

Therefore, in our speaking of our Father, let not our words speak, that God tried to tell me something, or God tried to show me this or that — because God doesn’t try.

Hebrews 6:18 (KJV) – that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) – so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalm 66:10 (KJV) – for thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried u, as silver is tried.

II Samuel 22:31 (KJV) – as for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

At one time or another, we have all had the expectations of someone doing what we said do. In others words, we were expecting others to live by what we say — well, that’s controlling.

We have no right to the lives of others. Every last one of us are borrowed, we are loaned to one another. We belong to God, and our lives should be lived according to the word of God, by His words, not controlled by others.

There’s nothing wrong with giving your opinion, or giving good advice, but it’s wrong to be controlling.

Remember, man will live by every word that come out of the mouth of God. Therefore, whatever you say, going forward, let it be with grace.

Proverbs 21:2 (KJV) – every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.

Matthew: 4:4 (KJV) – but he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
