We have a tendency of speaking harshly toward others when we are upset. Most of us think this is the way to get our point across, and to mean what we say. But, it’s not, it only turns up the fire for more anger.
God’s word says, that we should answer every man with grace, and words that are heartfelt. To speak softly, and it will turn away anger.
Colossians:4:6 (KJV) – let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Proverbs 15:1 (KJV) – a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs was one good teaching referencing what we say and how we say it. Sometimes it’s not meant to be said because it will be exposed in due time, God’s time
