Give Me Give Me Give Me

We always got our hands stuck out for something. Give me this, give me that. Give me, give me, give me.

God said, He will supply all our needs. He knows what we are in need of before we ask it. Some things we don’t have it’s because we don’t ask, or we ask with the wrong motive.

The one thing we fail to do so often, is to be thankful. Don’t just always ask, but to give thanks to our Father. There’s nothing wrong in asking for things, but he wants us to be thankful in our asking, and in everything. When I say everything, I mean everything!

Ask so that you can receive, and ask with the right motive, the right intentions. Most importantly, give thanks, it is God’s will for us.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) – but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:8 (KJV) – be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

James 4:2-3 (KJV) – ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) – in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

  1. This is actually in line with something I just read a few minutes ago. Someone wrote: “what if you wake up tomorrow with only the things you thanked God for today?” It’s a great awakening. We need to be thankful to God always. One or two things might not be where we envision them to be in our lives, but surely, there’s a lot to be grateful for. Have a super blessed day 🙂
