We have all been persuaded to change our minds to what someone else wants us to do. Some of those times, we wished we would have stuck to our own decisions, and some, turned out to our advantage.
The roads we travel are taking us to our next step in life. If we choose the road everyone else chooses, the way of the world, we will end up like the world; envying others, having idols, fornicating, and other worldly things. But if we choose the road less traveled, we will end up being more Christ-like; having more faith, peace, love and other godly things.
Just because the majority does something, doesn’t mean it’s the right way, or it’s the right way for you. We have to learn to be stern in what we believe is right. We have to stand strong in our convictions and not be moved by what others may say about the choices we make.
Be convicted in doing the right thing regardless of what one may say about you. They talked about Jesus. What makes you so special that they won’t talk about you? If they talk about you because of your right choices, don’t be fearful, but be glad. You will be reward for doing the right thing.
Everything you do is between you and God, not you and the other person. Choose based on what’s right, you will win every time!
