So many compare themselves to others.
God did not make you in man’s image, but in His image.
When God made you, He broke the mold.
Genesis 1:27 (KJV) so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Excellent point, especially in your second sentence that God did not make us in man’s image. Why then would we compare ourselves to others. That nailed it.
I say the same thing to others, in particular your first sentence, but you have added insight with that second sentence.
When I talk to others about not comparing themselves with others, I also use this passage:
“For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”
– 2 Corinthians 10.12
