Salt changes the flavor of things. As a believer, so should you.
If you conform yourself to this world, you have become just like the world, therefore, you are good for nothing.
Be the change you want to see.
Matthew 5:13 (KJV) – ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Man say things to condemn us, and most accept it.
There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk in the Spirit.
Therefore, let them say what they want.
Romans 8:1 (KJV) – there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Our tempers flare when we don’t get our way. When we don’t want to listen to others, and believe, only our way is the right way.
Listen to wise counsel, it will keep you from having an adult temper tantrum.
Proverbs 12:15 (KJV) – the way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

We concern ourselves if we are not rewarded by our good deeds.
God saw it. He is your rewarder.
Job 34:21 (KJV) – for his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
Galatians 6:9 (KJV) – and let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

God made a promise to the world. That includes the good and the bad – no one excluded.
He said, He will never destroy the world by flood. To prove His word is bond, he sets a rainbow in the clouds to remind us.
Can you prove your word is your bond?
Genesis 9:15-16 (KJV) – and I will remember my convenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

When you love God, He will be with you in trouble, answer you when you call Him, and give you long life.
Just because you love Him.
Psalm 91:14-16 (KJV) – because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

We cry out for peace, but rather choose peace from the world, which is a temporary peace.
God’s peace is beyond human understanding.
Philippians 4:7 (KJV) – and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts, and minds through Christ Jesus.

How can we expect God to listen to us, when we won’t listen to him.
When you don’t listen to God, He will turn you over to the stubbornness of your heart, which leads to consequences.
Listen to God!
Romans 81:11-12 (KJV) – but my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

It’s not an easy thing to love our enemies or do good to those who hate us.
Our Father did not say maybe you should. He said; do it.
Matthew 5:44 (KJV) – but I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
