Man’s promises are; yes, no and maybe.
All the promises of God are always; yes.
II Corinthians 1:20 ( KJV) – for all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Simple question – if you had the choice to choose between life and death, which would you choose?
The choice is in your tongue. Therefore, be careful what you speak.
You have the choice to speak life and death, which will you choose? Now, it’s not so simple.
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) – death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Why do we keep picking the same type of people to be in a relationship, expecting different results?
It’s a different look, but same value.
Ask God to guide you. He will direct your path. And yes, you will have different results.

There are so many of us that try so hard to make things work that are not in God’s will for us.
Have you tried to combine light and darkness? There’s one or the other.
But, we do try to make relationships with believers and unbelievers. Only to find, there is much conflict.
It’s not God’s will for us to be unequally yoked.
II Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) – be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Above anything, we trust in ourselves, and believe we are capable to do for ourselves.
It’s not to say that we are not adequate beings, but our adequacy should be from God.
II Corinthians 3:5 (KJV) – not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
The foolish hates words of wisdom. Therefore, stop putting so much effort in trying to make them understand.
Proverbs 23:9 (KJV) – speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
James 1:5 (KJV) – if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Surrendering yourself to God is not a one time deal – it’s daily.
Luke 9:23 (KJV) – and he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

They both have the same answer – death.

We proclaim God is our Lord and Savior. But, we want God to agree with the decisions that we like, and the decisions that make us comfortable.
Submit yourself to God. Not God to submit himself to you.
