He Gave You Power

You have the power to change your circumstances. God gave it to you. USE IT!

He said, if you have faith of a mustard seed, you a can move mountains, and nothing shall be impossible to you.

We look to the heavens and cry out to God to change our circumstances, when He’s telling us, that He has given us power to change things, to make things happen. But, we must have faith.

We don’t always know what to do, but when we tell our Father, acknowledge Him in everything, He will guide us, show us and tell us what to say and to do. That’s when our power steps in. Understand, we don’t have all the power! But if we don’t have faith, our power is useless.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV) – and Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Psalm 3:6 (KJV) – in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

His Love For Us

I know that our Father loves me. The question is — do you believe He loves you?

If you truly know a person, you know if that person loves you or not. For the most part, we go by what a person can do for us to determine if they love us. Or if we get what we ask for, then we are loved. As long as we are having our way, we are loved. As soon as things start going sideways, love is quickly dismissed.

Our natural person is such a selfish person. The natural person wants to please and serve self, which is totally opposite of God. We are here to serve, not to be served. The love of God reigns in our mortal body to love others in various ways. We didn’t discover a love for God, to love Him first, He loved us first. And He proves and shows his love for us everyday, all day.

We look at the negative and find no good in it. Stop — see it as coming from God, and you will see the positive in everything. Because He loves us, God causes “ALL” things to work together for our good.

God loves us so much, that He forgives us for the wrong we do — time after time, throughout our whole lives. Read God’s word, get to know Him, and you will find out that God does truly love you.

I John 4:29 (KJV) – we love him, because he first loved us.

I John 1:9 (KJV) – if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) – and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We have a tendency to believe we got everything we have on our own. We did it ourselves. Material things and money — we did it. And we believe these things belong to us, because we earned it, we bought it.

God has given us everything we have. God has provided it, and God owns it. He has given us power to get wealth, it is not us. We are simply stewards — over seers/managers of what God has given us. God owns it all. And if we are not careful, all that we have, that God has given us, can be taken away if we don’t manage it like He wants us to.

Deuteronomy 8:17-18 (KJV) – and thou say in thine heart, my power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God : for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Seek What Is Yours

If you’ve ever played the game, hide-and-seek, you always hoped that you would find the person(s) that’s hiding from you. So you tried to think smart, going about diligently looking for that person. Hoping, if you look hard enough and think smart enough, you will find that person.

We go through life trying to think smart, seeking what we believe to be good, doing things we believe to be good, so that we may have peace and a good life. Without reading God’s word, we go through life blinded, playing hide-and-seek, hoping to find the finer things in life, by being guided by ourselves, in our own strength. Stumbling and falling, trying to pick ourselves up, making the same mistakes, trying to figure it out on our own.

Well, that’s not God’s plan for us. God wants us to have the finer things in life, and live in abundance. To do that, we have to seek after God. Our trust should be in God, and seeking Him and His goodness, who gives us peace, should be first, not the last resort.

One of God’s promises say, that if you look for him wholeheartedly, you will find him. And if you call on Him, and pray to Him, He will hear you.

Seek after what God has promised you. He can’t lie, so get what He said he wants you to have. Ask Him. He’s waiting for you to ask. Get what is yours, it’s yours!

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) – but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jeremiah 29: 12-13 (KJV) – then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Like 11:9 (KJV) – and I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

What To Do

Quite often, we struggle with making decisions, and praying they are the right decisions. We get so caught up in our thinking, we over-think things. Sometimes, we make the decision, think about it again, then change our mind. . . again.

We are to take everything to God in prayer for guidance, and He will tell you what to do. Even if you think you have made the wrong decision, He will still turn it out for you good. When your decision has confusion, know that it’s not of God. Listen to our Father, He will guide you.

Proverbs3:6 (KJV) – in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) – and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

It Always Work Out

Most times, we go through things because we’ve made a choice that contradicts what God wants for us, and God is trying to get our attention to show us something, that is for our good.

Regardless of what it is, the outcome will reveal a truth about yourself. Receive it, it’s a gift that will push you forward, make u stronger, and take you to a place you would never imagine.

Whatever is revealed to you, use it to help others. It wasn’t just meant for you.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) – and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to His purpose.

Lift Him Up

We lift up people by praising them for their good works, and their accomplishments. And that’s great!

Ask yourself, when was the last time you praised God? When was the last time you lifted Him up? Praise Him — he woke you up!

Psalms 47:6 (KJV) – sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

Psalm 96:4 (KJV) – for the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

Who Do We Think We are

Don’t you get frustrated when you keep doing something for someone, and you feel like they don’t appreciate it. And after a while, you feel like they expect it from you. But, when you need them, they don’t come through for you. You feel like it’s a one way street.

You bottle it in, and after a while, the time comes and you say; “after all I’ve done for you”. You’re frustrated and think to yourself, you don’t want to help that person again. You are tired of feeling like you’re being used. So, you throw your hands up, and make a decision that you are done, and let them ask for what they want from someone else.

The time comes again, and they ask for your help. You give them a piece of your mind and tell them how you feel, how they make you feel used, and they don’t want to be there for you when you need them. Whew — You feel better and hope they learned their lesson. You don’t care if they are mad or not, you just want them to know, you are not going to let them keep asking from you, and not wanting to help you when you ask.

Now, think about how we treat God. He constantly does things for us — all the time. Gets us out of trouble — all the time. Doing us favors — all the time. Giving us things we don’t deserve — all the time. And when he ask us to do something, we don’t come through for Him. And half the time, we forget what He has done for us, and act like we don’t appreciate it. Love your enemy — NOT! Bless them that curse you — NOT! Don’t treat that person that way — NOT!

Who do we think we are? God owes us absolutely nothing. We expect God to do everything we ask of Him, but we don’t come through for him. Do you feel like you’re using God? Thank God, He doesn’t hold it all in, throw his hands up, give up on us, give us a piece of his mind and say; “after all I’ve done for you”. He doesn’t treat us like we treat others, or even, how we treat Him.

God loves us so much, that He gave His Son for us, so that we may live. The least we can do is, love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. And love our neighbor has we love ourselves, even if they can’t or don’t come through for us.

Luke 6: 30-35 KJV) – give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye, love them which love you what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what this I have ye?for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Matthew 5:44-45 (KJV) – but I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and in the unjust.

John 3:16 (KJV) – for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Luke 10:27-28 (KJV) – and he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Faith Is

Faith is believing for something you hope to have, and you don’t see any evidence of the thing that you hope for.

Faith is when things are at their worst. Faith is when the bottom has dropped out. Faith is when you cannot take another step on your own. Faith is not worrying about a situation. Faith is trusting God in that situation.

You cannot see faith, you cannot feel faith.

Faith is where you grow, where you stretch, where you conquer!

When you’re trusting God, you may not know that you are growing in your faith, but you are. You will know when your faith has grown, when that same circumstance come again, and your reaction is different, and it doesn’t affect you like it did before.

Faith is how you live a victorious life! Start living your life on purpose, with a purpose, VICTORIOUSLY, by living on the promises of God, through faith!

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – for we walk by faith, not by sight.

I Corinthians 2:5 (KJV) – that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Hater Nation

Those that don’t want to wish you well, hope that you fail, and can never find anything good to say about you, can be know as . . .haters.

What’s sad about a hater is, they are the ones that’s unhappy. The person that’s being hated on, probably don’t know the hater is hating on them.

You never have a hater doing better than you. They always have a problem with what you’re being blessed with. They are always trying to knock you down, but what they don’t understand is, they are blessing you. The more they speak against you, the more God will prosper you.

If you have all the characters of a hater, make some positive changes before you self-destruct. If you know you’re being hated on, thank your haters for sending blessings upon you, as well as, pray for them.

As long as the hater doesn’t Get It, the hater will Get Got!

Proverbs 3:27 (KJV) – withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Proverbs 3:33 (KJV) – the curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Proverbs 24:16 ( KJV ) – for a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again, but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 27:17 (KJV) – rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth.
