Your Gain Is In Your Lost

When you only love those that love you back, what have you gained? When you do for others that only do for you, what have you gained? When you lend to them that will only give it back, what have you gained?

God is your Father, who is your resource. Step outside of your comfort zone, move forward in your life and love those that don’t love you. Do for those that don’t do for you. Lend to those even if you know you may not get it back. And watch God give it back to you, and reward you greatly.

Luke 6:31-35 (KJV) – and as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? For sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? For sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? For sinners also lend to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the thankful and to the evil.

Luke 6:38 (KJV) – give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

There’s Power In Fasting

When we fast, we do it to be delivered from temptation. We keep ourselves from those things we want. We deny ourselves. Most importantly, we do it for God. To have a closer relationship with Him, to know Him, and for God to reveal himself to us, and for him to cleanse us.

When fasting, pray, read and meditate on the word of God, and do it in your prayer room secretly to your Father, who will reward you for it. Great things happen when we fast.

Fasting is for ourselves, the word of God is for satan’s temptation.

Matthew 6:17-18 (KJV) – but thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; that thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

You Prayed For It

When you receive something you have prayed for in the name of Jesus, but not sure if it’s from God, remember — you prayed for it.

Trust in Him, His word, and His promises will confirm that it’s from God.

John 14:14 (KJV) – if ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Yes You Can

As long as you want to do your will, what you want to do, you are under the law of condemnation. You are constantly being condemned by others, by the law of this world.

Satan wants to control you, blind you with false teachings, make you think about things that will probably never happen, make you think negative, show you things that you think are good for you when they are not, and put strong holds on your life. Make you constantly think about negative things that will eventually control you.

Jesus spoke to satan, and so can you. Resist satan, speak with your mouth and tell satan who you truly are. You are a child of God, led by the Spirit, and under grace! You are more than a conqueror! You are fearfully and wonderfully made! No weapon formed against you shall prosper! Loose any strongholds that satan is trying to put on you by speaking the promises of God. Don’t say you can’t, God gave you the power, and has equipped you.

Romans 3:19 (KJV) – now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

II Corinthians 10:4-6 (KJV) – for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Romans 6:14 (KJV) – for sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

James 4:7 (KJV) – submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Galatians 5:18 (KJV) – but if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Romans 8:37 (KJV) – nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Psalm 139: 14 (KJV) – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) – no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Do For Others And Receive Your Blessings

Do you wake up thinking what you’re going to do today for yourselves,? Or do you wake up thinking, what you’re going to do today to help someone else? When you pray, are you praying for others, or are you praying solely for yourself ?

God created us and has equipped us to serve Him. He made us, we didn’t make ourselves. Our strengths and talents are from God so that we can do His will, not our own. We are called by God to serve, not to be served.

When we help others, we are serving God. When we give of ourselves, we are serving God. When we serve with the right intent, a glad heart, we receive the blessings of God. He rewards us.

Think more about others, help others, and let God lift you up, and receive the blessings of God.

Psalm 100:3 (KJV) – know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Philippians 2:13 (KJV) – for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Galatians 5:13 (KJV) – for, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

II Thessalonians 1:11-12 (KJV) – wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

James 4:10 (KJV) – humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

You Can’t Touch Perfection

Everything God has made is good. He made everything perfect in it’s form.

We, in the flesh, want to alter God’s perfection. Why? Do we know more than God? Of course we don’t. God wants us to be perfect, as He is perfect. But our perfection is from God, not ourselves.

Genesis 1:31 (KJV) – and God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good….

Psalm 18:30 (KJV) – as for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Matthew 5:48 (KJV) – be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

II Samuel 22:33 (KJV) – God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

You Are Forgiven

Every last one of us have sinned, and have fallen short of God’s glory. We have made mistakes where we feel there is no point of return to God’s love and grace.

We have a Father that loves us so much, that He said, he will forgive you of your sins. He has given you His grace. He said, his grace is sufficient. All you have to do is ask for his forgiveness, and He will forgive you. Your sins have not been so bad that He will not forgive you. Once you ask for forgiveness from our Father, your sins are not remembered by God, no more.

Ask for forgiveness, and if someone has wronged you, forgive them.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) – for all have sinned, and some short of the glory of God.

Psalm 103:12 (KJV) – as far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

II Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) – and he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV) – for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

What Are You Worried About

We worry about things we have no business worrying about. We can’t eat, we can’t sleep. We can’t think straight. It is not God’s plan for us to worry. We are to give whatever it is that concerns us to Him, so that we can live a life of joy, comfort and peace.

God does not need our help doing what He know what is best for us. Honestly, what are you worried about, that God can not take care of? All things are possible with God. Once we give our cares to Him, don’t concern yourself with it anymore. Live a life of peace, comfort and joy!

Psalm 55:22 (KJV) – cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Matthew 19:26 (KJV) – but Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

II Corinthians 13:11 (KJV) – finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Just Imagine

When you start doing the work of the Lord, He will begin to take you places you’ve never been, doing things you’ve never done, and meeting people you thought you’d never meet. You will begin to see blessings upon blessings. Most of all, you will see the blessings are not just meant for you, but for others as well.

You say, how do I know that I’m doing the work of the Lord? How do I know that I’m doing God’s will? When you’re doing what God has called you to do, walking in His way, you will see change, with the thought that you did not do this yourself. You will go from one area in your life to the other, and wonder (but you will know) “how did I get here, to this place in my life”. You will truly feel like you are soaring like an eagle!

When you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and your personal savior, and serve our Father, it is then, you will begin to see the favor of God upon your life. You will see how you are a blessing to others! The doors He has opened for you, that no man can shut! He will introduce you to people that will catapult you, move you forward in your life!

Remember. . . where your blessings came from. Remember. . . To keep your eyes on the blesser. Remember. . .without Him you are nothing. Remember. . . it is He who made us, and not we ourselves. All the honor, and all the glory belongs to God our Father!
