Just Say It

We all know someone who talks indirectly. They don’t say what they truly want to say, or comfortable with the others reaction, therefore you have to read between the lines.

Could this be a lack of confidence which brings on fear? Afraid of not hearing what they want to hear.

Say what needs to be said, say it with confidence, and don’t be afraid to be wrong. You will learn sooner or later. We all dont know it all.

Say what you mean, and mean what you say.

Proverbs 29:19 (KJV) – confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken foots, and a foot out of joint.

Live Your Best Life

LIVE! LIVE! AND LIVE!

It’s time for you to live life to the fullest! Live your best life now and on purpose! Do it now — not later.

Pull out your bucket list — if you don’t have one, make one! Write down those things that you have been wanting to do, places you’ve been wanting to go. Write down those things you know will bring you joy! People who have inspired you to do something positive, write it down.

Most importantly, pray on your list, and ask God, in Jesus name, to let you move forward in your life to do those things.

God wants us to live a life of abundance! God wants us to have joy in our lives!

Be determined to live your best blessed life and live it on purpose, with purpose!

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

John 16:24 (KJV) – hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Pleasing To Whom

When you do nice things, who are you trying to please? When you help someone or give to someone, are you trying to please God or man?

Doing nice things to make yourself look good or even feel good, in the sight of man, is short-lived. When you do things for man’s approval and praise, that’s all you get — man’s approval and man’s praise. Nothing else. Nothing from God. You have received all the reward you are going to get from that situation. Approval from man — man’s reward.

When you do nice things in secret, they are done in the sight of God. Therefore, you receive His rewards, His blessings.

Which will you choose when you think of doing something nice for someone. Will you shout it from the rooftop for the attention of man, or will you take it to our Father in secret and let Him bless you?

Will you be a man pleaser, or pleasing to God?

Matthew 6:1-2 (KJV) – take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doesn’t thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

I Got This

A flower is a beautiful demonstration of our lives. While the flower is on the vine, it’s being nurtured. It’s alive, and it’s beautiful! Once it’s plucked, it is separated from its lifeline and at that moment begins to die. It doesn’t look like it’s dying, but it is. It has nothing else to draw from. Hour by hour it’s slowing losing its strength, its form, its texture.

The same goes for our lives. When we live with Christ in our lives, we are strong, we are nurtured, we are alive, we are conquerors, we have power! We have life, because He is our vine.

When we try to live our lives without Christ, we are drawing from ourselves, and we believe we know better than God. We depend on ourselves, but we are weak in the flesh. We try to do things in our own strength, because we think, we got this, but we don’t. According to the word, the body is dead because of sin.

We don’t — got this, God does. Take “you”off the throne of your heart, and let God have His place. Let God reign on the throne of your heart.

John 15:5 (KJV) – I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

Romans 8:10 (KJV) – and if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Heavy Weight

Our journey of life, is not an easy journey. We carry loads that are too much for us to bare. We walk around dragging, and worry about things that may not even happen.

Knowing who we are, Christ is how we should live, how we should walk, how we should talk and how we can survive this journey with joy. God did not mean for us to live our lives carrying our burdens and dragging ourselves through life as if we’re carrying heavy weight. God wants us to give Him our burdens, so that we can live in His peace.

We are more than conquerors, therefore, live like heavy weight champions and let go of the burden. What do you have to lose. . . besides the weight?!

Matthew 11:28 (KJV) – come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Romans 8:37 (KJV) – nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

All Or Nothing

We don’t expect less, yet we accept less. We would rather have a piece of, rather than nothing at all.

What you believe about you, will determine what you deserve. As long as you believe you are not worthy of God’s best, you will settle for less. Your expectations of you is what you truly believe about yourself.

Settling for a piece of, is what we attract throughout our lives if we don’t start thinking bigger and better for ourselves. Knowing you are adopted child of God, joint-heirs with Christ, you have no reason to settle. None — not one!

As of today, no more making decisions for a piece of, no more settling for a piece of, but for the bigger and better! All or nothing at all! You must believe it first! Seeing it first is not believing, nor is it faith.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Smacked Into A Blessing

The Bible tells us to love your enemies, do good to them that hate you, bless them who curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you. AND, if someone smacks you, turn your cheek so they can smack the other side, and if someone takes your coat, don’t stop him.

Some will say — please, I’m not doing that. Even so, some will not want to love their enemies, do good for them, bless them or even pray for them. Some would even say, if someone smacked me, I’m smacking them back. And definitely will not let them take from me, without stopping them.

Well, strange as it may sound, to not do these things that God ask of us, is disobedience to God. We all can say, our first response is to defend ourselves. But fortunately, we don’t have to, God is our defender.

If you think about it, God works in the reverse of how we know and see things. When God tells us to give Him a portion, which means we have less, He blesses us with more. When God tells us to love, pray and bless our enemies, we are blessed and rewarded in return. To know how God works is to read His word.

You see, God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We can NEVER go wrong obeying and following God. NEVER!

Isaiah 55:9 (KJV) – for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Heal Your Wounds

From a scraped knee to a broken limb, although it may hurt, in order for it to get better, you have to give it time to heal. Betrayal, abandonment, abuse (mentally or physically) hurts as well, but does not heal with time alone. The key ingredient to healing is — forgiveness.

By no means, will God allow us to go through something without it working for our good. Every hardship and every pain we experience is not wasted. Our Father is showing us something. Either we will ignore it and go through the pain again, or we will see it as coming from God and allow it to change our direction. God’s ways may not make any sense to us, and we may not like it, but every pain, every heartache, every bruise in our life is to accomplish His will. To open our eyes, think differently, and change our direction from the normal.

Therefore, whomever it is that has hurt you in the past, forgive with your mouth — say it with your mouth and begin healing your wounds. Go to your closet in prayer, mentally sit that other person across from you, and forgive them. Release them from the resentment, bitterness, and anger. Tell them, you no longer hold them guilty. The sooner you do this, the quicker your wounds will heal. You may have to do it more than once, but you will begin to feel healing when you do it.

Remember, God will walk through it with you. Trust Him!

Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) – be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Sometimes it’s good to be comfortable being uncomfortable.

God is more concerned about your obedience to Him, and strengthening your faith, than you being comfortable in doing things your way. We seem to find it more uncomfortable in doing what God wants us to do. We don’t like doing some things that makes us uncomfortable, even if it’s the right thing. We want to stay comfortable and worry about the consequences another time. Or as we would think, if there are any consequences… but there always is.

Get uncomfortable by doing God’s will, God’s way, and see how God will move in your favor!
