We say unkind things, and speak unkind words to and about others. But not often do we stop to think before we speak.
If unkind words left an awful taste in our mouth, I wonder how much of what we want to say, will be left unsaid.
What you speak is life and death. Be quick to listen and slow to speak.
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) – death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
James 1:19 (KJV) – wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
