I’m sure you’ve heard, and you’ve probably said it yourself; “I’m not a liar”.
Well, every man is a liar, and satan is the father of lies.
But, God is the truth! Our refuge!
Psalm 116:11 (KJV) – I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Romans 3:4 (KJV) – God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightiest be justified in thy sayings, and mightiest overcome when thou art judged.
We all lie at some point and some, they do so more often than others’. Some lies are partial lies, some, they are fully false. I see other aspects to being a liar though.
A person, they could be living a way and telling their self that they are happy about it.
Someone who ‘comfort food’ eats. They lie to their self about being hungry, when it is their depression or anxiety driving them to eat. An alcoholic, when they drink excessively they make excuses on why it is OK and ‘within’ reasonable limits.
Spiritually and physically though, they are lying to their self and ruining their lives.

So true. It is when we, who are spiritual, are to pray for others. We have not control of what others do, only ourselves. Keep those in prayer. Thank you for your comment.

A lie is a lie. There is no such thing as little lie or big lie. In God’s eyes lies are lies. And as you stated Satan is the father of lies.
