We put limits on God and try to handle our problems ourselves.
He made heaven and earth. Nothing is too hard for God.
Jeremiah 32:17 (KJV) – ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
Get It or Get Got! 
I say the same thing to people, except I put a little humor in it so that they can see how they are limiting God in their thinking, such as: “God created the universe but your problems are too big for him.”
It is like Israel when they arrived at the border of the Land of Canaan. They witnessed the Lord pour out the plagues on Egypt, divide the Red Sea, and provide for them the first two years of their journey until they reached the border of Canaan, but suddenly he can’t handle the Canaanites. It showed a woeful lack of faith.
