I Know I Am A Masterpiece

Do you need validation from others to make you feel worthy?

You don’t have to be validated by anyone to say who you are, prove who you are, or prove your worth to anyone.  Know who you are! Let God exalt you. You don’t need it from someone else, or for self-satisfaction.

What others think of you does not change your value of who you are. Don’t give your value to someone else, by living your life based on the way they see you. People will dislike you without a cause. Some people won’t like you, or don’t want to approve of you because of something within themselves, therefore, trying to project it on you.

Feel good about yourself! Be confident in you! God doesn’t make mistakes. You are valuable to God, fearfully and wonderfully made. God has your best interest at heart. He is always thinking about you, and He wants the best for you!  Carry yourself with confidence, and know that you are:

  • Loved
  • Beautiful
  • Handsome
  • Valuable
  • The apple of God’s eye

Everything God made is perfect in it’s form. You’re approval is from God, for he sees you as a MASTERPIECE! And you should too!

I Peter 5:6 (KJV) – humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

I John 4:19 (KV) – we love him, because he first loved us.

Zechariah 2:8 (KJV) – for thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) – for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I’m Not Sure

When we want something we pursue it. When we get it, we want something else. After it’s gone, we want it back.

God knows what’s best for you. Seek Him first for guidance, and he’ll direct you in the way you should go.

James 1:8 (KJV) – a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) – in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be Honest With Yourself

When asking God for forgiveness for our wrong, we have to be specific in our asking. Being generic in asking (“father, forgive me for my sins”) could mean, we truly don’t want to confront our wrong – which is actually, the truth.

Ask for forgiveness and speak specifically what you have done wrong, it releases you from your wrong. It also allows you to be honest with yourself, and with God. It will also give you courage to be humble and to ask for forgiveness to others.

Be honest with yourself and be specific in your asking.

Matthew 6:6 (KJV) – but thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Losing Weight

When we get on a scale to weigh ourselves, we think if the scale is truly correct. But, how often do we think about how much weight we carry?

Although, the numbers on the scale say one thing, our spiritual weight says another. We all carry burdens that we shouldn’t, which causes pain and stress.

Our burdens are very heavy, and surely weigh us down, but God did not mean for us to carry any of our burdens. Lose the extra weight by casting your cares on Him, and watch how much healthier you will be.

Rejoice in the day that the Lord has made!

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he care the for you.

Psalm 118:24 – (KJV) – this is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

One Step At A Time

If you’re struggling with, and finding it hard to do the right things, please know you’re not alone. If we were perfect, what need would we have of God?

Take one step at a time by doing the right thing, little by little. Soon you will find yourself doing more of the right things, and what was once hard has now become easier. When you look back on your life, some of those things you once did, you’re not doing anymore.

Thank God for his mercy!

II Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) – but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, as changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Make Me A Blessing

20190905_0617496220499057460350084.jpgIf God has carried you through a storm, removed you from a situation, cleansed your heart from bitterness and anger, it is meant for you to share how God has delivered you, so that you can help someone else.

Experience is an opportunity to help someone, and a blessing to others. Most of us do not want to share our hurts and pains for various reasons.  But, we are to help those that are struggling, in the same area that we once struggled in.

God does not mean for us to keep the comfort we received from him, the gift of being healed, to ourselves. We are to use it to bless someone else. If we are holding on to our blessings, it will not have it’s full affect on us, and others.

Whatever God has brought you through, know there is someone else that needs to be strengthen.  You don’t have to worry about finding them, God will bring them to you.

“Father God, make me a blessing to be a blessing to someone else.”

II Corinthians 1:4 (KJV) – who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Tell Me The Answer First

Man will trust man before he trust God. One of the reasons we don’t trust God is because we want to know the answer before we say yes to Him.  We feel, if we say yes to God, we are saying yes to his will, and we’re giving up our control, but most importantly, we feel we may not like what God has to offer us.

We’re so comfortable with being comfortable, it makes us so afraid of risk and the unknown.  Being afraid of fear and not trying, is worst than being afraid of fear, and trying.  When you do try in fear, you’ve conquered your fear.

Know that God has your best interest at heart. You don’t have to know the answer first, to know that he wants to give you his best. Trust him with all your heart, even if you’re afraid. Be patient and wait upon Him. Don’t quit on God, cause He won’t quit on you. He will bless you just because you did.

Psalm 146: 3 (KJV) – put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thing own understanding.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) – but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Handle The Struggle

When we go through struggles, they have a tendency of effecting our emotions. We have to either let the struggle massage our emotions by looking for pity, or see it as coming from God, and ask; what is he telling me through this struggle.

When the struggle we are going through is a familiar struggle, one that we’ve experienced more than once, and it is affecting our emotions, just as it did before, this is the time when we need strength to move forward in our lives. Saturating ourselves in pity will only allow us to feel sorry for ourselves, and the sorrow we receive from others, makes us more dependent on others, and the weaker we become.

It’s time to stop walking in our feelings, but to look at the struggle in a new light. It’s time to grow and not look for pity or sympathy, but look for strength, and confidence and power.  Nothing and no one can make you feel the way you feel, except you.

Whatever the struggle, know that it is temporary. It will only last as long as you let it. Either you will handle the struggle, or you will let it handle you.

Be strong! Be courageous!

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Don’t Let It Control You

If we are honest with ourselves, we all have done things in our lives when we feel, we deserve some of the things that we are going through, or went through. But we don’t have to beat ourselves up.

Satan does not want us to prosper in any shape or form. His goal is to steal our joy, kill our spirit and to destroy who we really are. God has given us, as believers, power over Satan. But, we can’t have power and pity at the same time.

Yes, we we will reap what we have sown. But that doesn’t mean that God condemns us, because God doesn’t condemn.

You are a child of God. Choose your destiny. Choose to live above your past. Ask for forgiveness, then forgive yourself. Don’t allow yourself to be controlled by your past.

Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

What Are Your Thoughts

Our thought process, in the flesh, is totally different than God’s. We believe if we keep our money for ourselves, we have more to spend. When someone wrongs us or treats us harshly, we should defend ourselves and wrong them and treat them harshly. And when we want patience, we expect to have it now.

God’s ways are not the same as ours. He tells us to do the opposite. If we give the first fruits of our income in tithing, we will receive more. He tells us to forgive those who have wronged us and we will be forgiven, and when we ask for patience, He will send us opportunities to be more patient.

There are so many that do not trust God, and ask; how does that work? What we do in the flesh doesn’t work to our advantage. We must know that God’s ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts ours thoughts. Therefore, God’s way is the best way.

Learn to trust and obey God. When you trust Him, you will obey Him, and you will see the wonders of His works.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) – bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that here shall not be room enough to receive it.

Matthew 6:14 (KJV) – for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Isaiah 55::8-9 (KJV) – for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I Chronicles 16:12 (KJV) – remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and his judgments of his mouth.
