If we are honest with ourselves, we all have done things in our lives when we feel, we deserve some of the things that we are going through, or went through. But we don’t have to beat ourselves up.
Satan does not want us to prosper in any shape or form. His goal is to steal our joy, kill our spirit and to destroy who we really are. God has given us, as believers, power over Satan. But, we can’t have power and pity at the same time.
Yes, we we will reap what we have sown. But that doesn’t mean that God condemns us, because God doesn’t condemn.
You are a child of God. Choose your destiny. Choose to live above your past. Ask for forgiveness, then forgive yourself. Don’t allow yourself to be controlled by your past.
Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
